It is not a flag administration, maritime authority, government department, embassy, consulate, certification body, examination body, school, employer, shipowner, union, or intergovernmental organisation, and it does not claim endorsement by any of them.

MSA currently presents itself only as an independent consultancy and platform, not as a licensed maritime authority or government-affiliated body. Before MSA accepts paid work or carries out activity that local law classifies as regulated seafarer recruitment or placement, the responsible operator must complete the applicable business registration, consumer, tax, privacy-controller, licensing, insurance, and governing-law particulars. A description on this website cannot replace a licence or remove a duty imposed by law.
