What we are
An independent maritime-support consultancy.
We provide information, preparation, coordination, document-readiness, education, and career-support services under an agreed client scope.
About the agency
Maritime Support Agency is an independent consultancy created to make complicated career-critical processes more understandable, organised, and human.
We are not a government body, maritime administration, certificate issuer, school, employer, or flag state.

Why MSA exists
Seafarers are often expected to coordinate certificates, sea-service evidence, medicals, training, institutional requirements, travel, and opportunity applications across several organisations. A missing signature, mismatched date, wrong course, or misunderstood capacity can cost months.
MSA brings maritime understanding, research, document discipline, and a trusted professional network into one structured support relationship. We help the client see the route, build the file, communicate with the right organisation, and keep track of what happens next.

What we are
We provide information, preparation, coordination, document-readiness, education, and career-support services under an agreed client scope.
What we are not
We do not issue certificates, decide medical fitness, admit students, approve visas, confer sea time, employ seafarers, or guarantee official outcomes.
How our network works
Professional relationships help us find current information and coordinate legitimate follow-up. They never authorise bribery, forged records, secret commissions, or bypassing a lawful requirement.
Who we serve
The support changes with the person. A cadet needs a training and sea-time route; an officer may need a management-level upgrade; an offshore professional may need a completely different evidence and safety profile.

People choosing a first maritime route, pre-sea programme, diploma, degree, STCW course, or approved training pathway.

Ratings and officers managing renewals, endorsements, sea-service evidence, eligibility, and progression to higher responsibility.

Drillship, offshore-support, technical, safety, and energy-sector personnel aligning their records with an intended role or assignment.
How we work
Professionalism is not a slogan. It is the quality of the evidence, the honesty of the explanation, the protection of the records, and the discipline to say when another organisation must decide.
We explain the objective, evidence, known dependencies, responsibilities, and next steps before a case begins.
Sensitive records are collected only when needed, stored through controlled systems, and shared externally only with authority.
A familiar class name or verbal promise is never enough. We look for the capacity, department, limitation, issuer, and proof behind it.
We support preparation and lawful follow-up while authorities, schools, doctors, employers, and providers retain their decisions.
Our network helps us locate the right people and information—not bypass rules, buy influence, or create improper priority.
Clients should be able to see what is complete, what is pending, what changed, and who needs to act next.

Our promise
MSA will explain its role, preserve a clear evidence trail, and distinguish professional support from official authority. That independence protects both the client and the agency.
